Moving Forward, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly

I decided, when the first few tracks came up here, not to be embarrassed about what I'd heard today and liked, and why I like it.  So, in that spirit, I'll not flinch from writing that I was actually first attracted to this band by their name.  Although, turns out that I meant "his name" - as this is (mostly) a singer songwriter.  

The other attractor here is the use of the word "Tessellate".  I've not yet heard a song which uses the word tessellate that I didn't like.  OK, so I only know one other song, but who says I can't generalise? 

I can't play any instruments.  I can't write poetry.  I can sort of carry a tune, but only in an ex choirboy sense.  I think that there is a small frustrated part of me that wishes I could make a tune like this - that I could sit down and strum a guitar and sound wistful.
